Amid pandemic scares and rising infection tolls, we really need some good Yuletide news. And here it comes: Tønder Festival 2022 will be presenting The Mavericks and Madrugada.

American rootsrock
Many among our audience will recall The Mavericks’ music at Tønder Festival in 2018, where they conjured up a party with their raw, swinging roots rock spiced up with all manner of musical delights. Now they return, and we will also have the treat of hearing and seeing singer and guitarist Raúl Malo at Tønder Festival’s popular songwriter afternoon, the Gentlemen’s Circle. The 2022 edition will take place on Saturday afternoon in Tent 1.

Top Norwegian Name
The Norwegian band Madrugada have taken their blend of dark, alternative rock and elements of folk and country to international heights. After a ten-year break, they returned in 2019, and now you can enjoy their music at Tønder Festival, their only Danish festival concert this summer.
