American band 49 Winchester, one of the most acclaimed names on today's country music scene, will play their only Danish concert of 2027 at Tønder Festival.
From their humble beginnings in Castlewood, Virginia, they have grown into a band that sells out concert halls and has built a devoted international fanbase. The band was formed by childhood friends Isaac Gibson and Chase Chafin, and over the years they have refined a sound rooted in the Appalachian storytelling tradition. Drawing on country, rock and folk, they have forged an expression that is entirely their own. Their relentless work ethic and uncompromising belief in authenticity have taken them from jam sessions on the porch to major stages around the world, making them a band whose breakthrough has come after many years of hard work.
Their latest album, Change of Plans, marks a defining moment in that journey. The show at Tønder Festival will be 49 Winchester's only concert in Denmark in 2027.
