Copenhagen-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, and bandleader, Trinelise Væring is celebrated for her dynamic musical journey.
As a bandleader Væring has all in all released 13 critically acclaimed albums to this day. Here of seven as a solo artist. Væring’s career is distinguished by its versatility and adventurous spirit.
She first gained acclaim as a jazz artist releasing three highly praised albums. After a decade of touring with top Scandinavian jazz musicians, she pivoted to focus on songwriting and Danish-language music. This shift earned her significant recognition in Denmark as a bold and deeply personal artist.
Over the years, beyond her Danish solo work, Væring has engaged in various genre bending projects as a composer and lyricist (in English) most recently with the 10-piece folk-fusion band Tone of Voice Orchestra. Their debut album, from March 2022, received international acclaim, and earned three Danish Music Awards (Roots) nominations and a win for “Vocal Jazz Album of the Year.”
With her new solo album, ‘A Songwriter’s Odyssey’, she continues to follow her heart, bringing her unique voice and songwriting prowess to new and diverse audiences
