ROD & FOD are two volunteer-run gatherings where young people aged 15 to 30 from all over the country come together to immerse themselves in the vibrant culture of folk music and folk dance. This is where new roots grow, and traditions are not only preserved, but reinvented.
Live, ROD & FOD is an explosion of joy of playing music, rhythmic presence, and physical energy. A large ensemble of young musicians and dancers deliver sweat-dripping, infectious performances featuring both tradition-rooted melodies and playful interpretations.
