Experience the heartbeat of New Orleans in this interactive, high-energy workshop led by filmmaker and musician Martin Shore and special guests Big Chief Bo Dollis, Jr. and percussionist Brian Richburg, Jr. Open to all ages and experience levels, this session explores the cultural roots and infectious grooves that define the city’s musical legacy—from Congo Square and second line to bounce and funk, and the Mardi Gras Indian Culture. Through live demos, body percussion, and call-and-response rhythm circles, participants will clap, stomp, and groove their way through an unforgettable celebration of community and sound.
