RAGNA has its roots deeply embedded in the rich musical traditions of the Nordic countries.
With their own energetic expression, they color the tones of the past with contemporary curiosity. RAGNA consists of Stine Elbæk (violin and vocals), Carina Juul Birch (keyharps), and Thomas Birch (12-string guitar and mandola).
RAGNA blends traditional melodies and songs with newly composed pieces, taking pride in renewing tradition so that it remains alive and relevant. Their music is also inspired by medieval ballads, bluegrass, and Baroque music. RAGNA has performed at festivals such as Ild i Gilden, Musik over Præstø Fjord, Strib Vinterfestival, the café stage at Tønder Festival, and the camping stage at Tønder Festival.
