History and tradition with a modern twist - This year's T-shirt celebrates 50 years with Tønder Festival!

At Højer Design Efterskole, creativity thrives among the young students. Choosing between their splendid proposals for this year's Tønder Festival T-shirt was no easy task - but in the end, Jonathan Dam Gebel's design was selected!

Once again, this year's T-shirt is the result of a collaboration between Tønder Festival and Højer Design Efterskole, a boarding school for students aged 14-16. At the beginning of the year, students from the school’s graphic design programme spent four weeks designing a T-shirt for the festival’s anniversary year.

The chosen design was created by Jonathan Dam Gebel. The design melds a Tønder landmark with the festival's love for "handmade music." Tønder's water tower has been transformed with strings and tuning pegs, resembling a guitar.

This year's T-shirt is available in three colours: blue, grey and black.
